Very Satisfying Vietnamese Cuisine

I have just returned from dinner with my sister and her mister at Anh Dao, a local Vietnamese restaurant. It was the kind of meal that you almost had to work for, especially the summer rolls. You can have the restaurant make the rolls for you, but it is so much more satisfying to compile your own rolls and moderate the proportion of mint, sprouts and pickled carrots you would like with your grilled shrimp or beef satay. The dipping sauce served with the rolls may well be the best part; it is a sweet/sour sauce topped with chopped peanuts and grated carrot. This is a family run restaurant and while the service may not be the greatest, the food is consistently good with very fresh ingredients. The chilled jasmine tea is extremely refreshing in the 30+ degrees we have been experiencing.
